How articles are made
Articles are researched and drafted with AI writing tools that search current, public sources. Before an article is published we check its figures, dates and links against those sources and edit it for clarity.
Sources
We prefer primary sources: government agencies, official statistics, and the lenders, landlords and companies involved. Sources are linked in the text or listed at the end of each article.
Dates and updates
Every article shows when it was published. Explainers are reviewed and show an "Updated" date when we change them. News articles describe the situation on the day they were published and are not updated as events move on.
